Improving surgical outcomes in geriatric patients is the overarching goal of my research and quality improvement work. The impetus for this has been synthesized from my experiences at Geisinger Medical Center where I witnessed the impact of systems based care on outcomes. It was further refined based upon the work performed through the Dennis W. Jahnigen Career development award where our collaborative team conclusively demonstrated through advanced biomechanical analysis that elderly patients with peripheral arterial disease have a marked decrease in propulsive force at plantar flexion.  Our frailty assessment in conjunction with palliative care consultation led to marked improvements in patient outcomes and has led to a national focus on frailty assessment for surgical patients. To that end I have completed a Health and Aging Policy Fellowship in Washington DC working with CMS given their focus on elderly surgical care. My effort has thus been focused on promoting and assisting implementation of frailty screening on a national level in conjunction with my colleagues at multiple major academic medical centers.  Most recently I have continued to advance risk assessment as Acting Chief Medical Officer of VISN 23 where we developed a tool to risk assess all medical inpatients with improvement in systems level outcomes.

His combination of education, experience, and a proven track record positions him as a valuable asset in driving the company's mission forward. 

Outside of his professional endeavors, Matt's involvement in various community organizations showcases his commitment to giving back. His roles as a mentor, board member, and committee member for organizations like TeamMates Mentoring Organization, CHI Health Community Foundation, American Heart Association, Project Harmony, and the Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben Foundation highlight his dedication to making a positive impact in the community. 

Stephanie Patsalis is an accomplished business executive with 20 years of business development leadership with innovative business experience focused on growth and profitability. As Chief Development Officer, she understands organizational initiatives based on needs exploration and in building long-term client relationships. She has expertise in technology start-ups and as a partner with Rayna SolutionsTechnology. As an entrepreneur she has helped companies such as ezNetPay, Ucorsa,TerraWatts and BasicBlock.

 Dynamic business development leader with strong track record of enterprise growth through analysis and understanding of performance gaps and establishing clear returns on investment. Stephanie has strong Enterprise technology project sales spanning multiple industries working  with fortune 500 companies. Designed custom solutions based on thorough needs analysis and understanding of current company and market challenges.  Fostered relationships and strategic alliances with channel partners. Consulted Governor Pete Ricketts on leadership recommendations and technology initiatives for State of Nebraska CIO and Department of Health and Human Services CIO.

In her spare time, she enjoys philanthropic events, traveling with her two girls and is the author of two Greek cookbooks.

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Automated Assessment, Mani is a seasoned executive with a proven track record in driving operational excellence and strategic growth. With over fifteen years of experience in the industry, Mani began his career in the Information technology field and quickly rose through the ranks due to his exceptional performance and dedication. Mani holds a BS/BA in MIS and Acct from Midland University Mani also holds vertical certs in Information Technology, Information Security, Project Management and Operational Excellence.
